Richard and Peggy Jacobson, long time residents of Chester County,
live in Exton with their son. They have been successfully selling
their watercolor paintings and hand painted glassware for the past
few years.
Pursuing his lifelong interest in art, Richard, a chemical engineer
consultant, studied drawing and watercolor painting. He loves painting
historic buildings and bridges of Chester County and seascapes of
Cape May. His distinctive style has been well received and currently
he sells watercolor paintings and prints, focusing on the covered
bridges of the Exton area and New Jersey shores lighthouses.
Peggy, a former librarian, became interested in painting on glass
after being inspired by the beautiful work she saw at a local craft
show. She developed her own style and techniques by taking classes
and reading extensively on the subject. Having worked with other
media
and other surfaces in the past she enjoys the clarity and simplicity
that painting on glass provides.
